The accessory is a fitting choice for the princess given her mother, Sarah, Duchess of York, was known for her love of hair adornments in her ebullient Eighties era. From bows to headbands and even tiny flags (memorably donning UK and US flag hair slides during a trip to Los Angeles in 1988), Prince Andrew’s former wife loved to dress up her fiery red locks as the finishing touch to a bold outfit.

Eden adds that Beatrice, who works for artificial intelligence software company Afiniti, was likely dashing between meetings as she was photographed in Mayfair. While she often appears at official royal events and carries out occasional duties, King Charles III’s niece is not an official working royal, meaning she is allowed to pursue an independent career.

The princess is married to dashing property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and has a one-year-old daughter, Sienna, who was born in September 2021. She also co-parents Edoardo’s older child, Christopher Woolf (nicknamed Wolfie), from his previous relationship with architect Dara Huang.
